A 71 year old man is due to appear in court as a bid to fight an car insurance claim made against him after a road accident left him believing he was a victim of a crash for cash scam.
The man from Coventry said that a vehicle had randomly swerved in front of him and suddenly stopped causing the OAP to crash into the back of it.
The driver of the other vehicle filed a number of claims against the 71 year old stating that he suffered from personal injuries including spinal and whiplash injuries.
Another car appeared behind him after the accident which is believed to be an accomplice acting as a witness.
