New dad has his hand crushed in a machine

A 21 year old, who recently became a father, had his hand crushed whilst working on a machine he had not been trained on.

As a result, he required surgery on his hand and is now left with extensive scarring.

He said: "The timing of this accident couldn't have been any worse. I had taken on this new job to help provide for my young family but I ended up being so injured that I couldn.t even hold my son."

After filing a personal injury claim, he was awarded a payout to cover the damages.
