Size does matter

According to a US study, those with smaller vehicles are more likely to suffer from severe personal injuries compared to those in a larger car, it has been revealed.
Research by the US car insurance industry, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), passengers in smaller vehicles crashing at 40mph into mid-sized cars, are more likely to sustain greater injuries from that of passengers of a larger vehicle.
And, with the recession leading more people to downsize as a bid to cut back on costs, the number of injuries from road accidents could increase along with the cost of your car insurance premiums.
