Dirty Dancing leads to man receiving £25,000 in compensation

A man has received £25,000 in compensation after suffering from personal injuries when a “rather large lady jumped on him” during a Dirty Dancing competition, it has been revealed.
The unnamed 40 year old had been participating in a dancing contest which involved recreating a scene from the smash hit film Dirty Dancing, organised by a package holiday tour firm, whilst on holiday in the Dominican Republic.
According to his injury lawyer, the man “was paired with a rather large lady who jumped on him,” and therefore believed that the travel insurance firm had breached the health and safety laws.
The man was left with severe injuries to his ankle leaving him disabled and unable to continue his job as a trucker.
He argued that the package tour firm had some responsibility for his injuries and filed a no win no fee compensation claim against the firm.
