Solicitor critisises council for being "terribly slow"

With the help of injury lawyers, a total of £125,000 in damages has been compensated to a number of injured school childeren in Lothain within the past five years, research has shown.

Yet despite the payouts, a no win no fee solicitor is critisising the Lothain councils for not settling the claims early.

The solicitor said: "I find council insurers to be terribly slow… They don't admit liability and take months to make a decision. They would pay out less if they settled cases early and they did not invite litigation. I think it's probably a misguided attempt to save money in the wrong places."
