I want to be a millionnaire

Everybody has thought about what they would do if they won the lottery at one stage of their life.

For me, this is a daily thought.

Each day, I have a new reason to why I'd want to win the lotto.

Yesterday, I wanted to invest in some properties without turning to the banks for a mortgage, the day before that I wanted to go on a BIG shopping spree, and the day before that, I was thinking that I would have been able to go on a shopping spree had I not had my student loan to pay off.

On other days, I'd have reasons like doing up the garden, transforming our garage into a gym, turning our spare room into my own personal walk in closet, buying a nice new car and new runaway spot at a new home in the country side.

Its always want want want with people, and yes, this includes myself.

But not today. Today's reason to why I'd want to win the lotto is nothing to do with me.

A man called me from some charity company today. He said that the company helps children in underdeveloped countries. He said that when these children were asked what they want more than anything, they said an education.

Now, I don't know, was this man a really good sales person trying to use these lines as a bid to get me to sign onto the scheme to give them money, or were these children really crying out for an education.

Either way, it made me think. When I was 10, the last place I wanted to be in was at school, but these children aren't even given the opportunity to learn and be taught.

And this is todays reason as to why I'd like to become a millionnaire. To help these children... and pay off my debts at the same time.
