The Oscar winning actor, Morgan Freeman is being sued after a passenger who had been in the vehicle he was driving suffered from a number of personal injuries as a result of a car accident, it has been revealed.
The passenger, Demaris Meyer, 48, had suffered whiplash injuries, a broken left wrist and right scapula as a result of the accident and also claims to be suffering from memory loss and other injuries which have resulted in her being unable to work.
She is now suing the 71 year old actor, who starred in the blockbuster movies; The Dark Knight and The Shawshank Redemption, for medical costs, lost wages, permanent disability, pain and suffering and damaged property.
According to her no win no fee lawyer, she is seeking over $75,000 in compensation as a result of her injuries.
