Mother files for compensation

A mother has filed a compensation claim against a department store in Bristol after an 8ft glass door shattered and fell into her seven month old baby’s pram while he was asleep.

The child had suffered serious cut injuries.

The mother said: “If [my son] had been sitting up in his pushchair he would have been dead because there was a big thick piece of glass in the pram.”
