A Bishop from London’s Open Episcopal Church is considering taking legal action against the police after being attacked and held for false imprisonment, it has been revealed.
The 52 year old had been arrested by seven police officers after he had been taking photographs of his two children, one aged seven and the other eight, sitting on the roof of their home.
The Bishop stated that his children had been taking part in a school competition where they were to be photographed reading a book in the most unusual place.
The Bishop claims to have been brutally attacked by the officers before letting him go and is considering filing a compensation claim against the officers for personal injury and false imprisonment.
