Victims of car accidents are being bullied into settling for less by their car insurance firms, it has been revealed.
According to President of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), accident victims are offered less compensation than what they are entitled to.
In an example, she said that a woman had immediately been offered £1000 from her insurance firm after her accident providing she did not use injury lawyers.
However, after declining the offer APIL valued the claim and the woman received 1000 per cent more than what she had been offered.
